17th & 8th
This guy didn’t know what he was doing.
Unlike yesterday’s truck driving clinic, this guy was trying to get out of the loading dock at Chelsea Market, and his load was too high and got stuck in the doorway, so he kept inching forward, thinking he could free the trailer, but all he did was scrape the shit out of it and get his truck so far forward that he couldn’t move an inch. And he couldn’t go backwards, because the loading dock door, like a ratchet wrench, wouldn’t let him back up. Workers from the offices above Chelsea Market were hanging out the windows, wondering how this guy managed to do this when literally dozens of trucks come and go every day of the week without any problems. Plus, nobody could walk on either sidewalk, nobody could ride a bike on W16th, no cars could pass, no other trucks could deliver goods to the Market. It may still be there, for all I know.
This guy knows knows what he’s doing
