If your car gets towed in parts of Manhattan, you have to go to the impound lot at 38th Street and 12th Avenue. It’s dreary, but on a Friday night/Saturday morning, the crowd might be in a fun mood, commiserating over their $185 fines. At least, that’s what I’ve heard. I don’t have a car, so I have no way of knowing for sure.
