Finally, an English-language trailer for The Impossible (the previous versions were Spanish-language trailers), directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, director of ‘The Orphanage’, and starring Naomi Watts. The story centers on the 2004 tsunami in South Asia. I have social and political reservations about the point of view, but I’m eager to see how this is handled in the film. Plus, y’know, Naomi Watts.
